Path of Freedom

Keywords: Knowledge, Liberty, Liberation, Choice.

A follower of Freedom believes that everybody has the right to be free from imprisonment, enslavement and oppression and should have the power to act, speak or think as one wishes. As a result a follower of Freedom will seek to free others from such situations. How a character views Freedom will vary greatly and the requirements change from character to character. A follower who thinks all knowledge should be free to share to all and a follower who seeks to free themselves and others from their physical bonds are both equally valid. Freedom often finds itself on a blurred line of Right and Wrong. Knowledge is also often pursued by those who follow the path of Freedom for good or worse.

For Priests and particularly devout characters

Casters of Freedom call upon a combination of the Powers of Life, Chaos and Freedom.
Freedom followers often view the undead as unwilling slaves and should be destroyed to free them, as well as those who enslave them. They also regularly have a loose attitude towards following authority. As a caster of Freedom, beneficial durational castings of Death, Order and Might should be avoided, but of all the Paths it is also generally the most lax in punishment when a character allows such castings to be accepted. However the Path itself is also Free to stop helping the character… Instant miracles, such as Heal Wounds, are left to the character to decide.

Anything that looks like this is a restricted casting that needs requesting from the Character Ref. In addition, your character must be of the minimum rank indicated before they can learn the casting.
